Meghalaya - The Government of Meghalaya Vide. No – LE&SD.912023IPt/S has issued order regarding revision of minimum wages for scheduled employments with effect from 03rd December 2024.
Rajasthan - The Government of Rajasthan Vide. No – 8(5)(6) N.R.M.AB./Shram/IR/ 2000/ Rn/00212 has issued order regarding revision of minimum wages for scheduled employments.
West Bengal - The Government of West Bengal Vide. No – 40 /Stat /14/RW /24 /2023 /LCS /JLC has issued order regarding revision of minimum wages for scheduled employments with effect from 01st January 2025.

Advisory regarding illegal migrants
Government of Delhi vide advisory No. F. No. 15(11)/Lab/2029/4889-4892 stated that all the concerned employers/establishments are advised to look into the matter and to report, on priority, any such illegal migrant, working in their establishment to the local police so that immediate appropriate action is taken.
Notification of Factories related Hazardous Waste Factories health checkup
The Karnataka Government vide notification No. LD 116/KABANI/2023 mandates medical examinations for workers handling hazardous substances under the Factories Act, 1948. These examinations must occur before, during, and after employment in such roles, at intervals not exceeding 12 months. The notification also sets criteria for recognizing or renewing laboratories conducting these medical examinations.
Notification of Factories related to First Aid giving
The Karnataka Government vide notification No. LD 90 KABANI 2023 notified criteria for recognizing First Aid Training Institutes under the Factories Act 1948. Institutes must be registered entities, have qualified trainers, and adequate facilities. Training fees are capped, and programs must last at least three days, with certificates valid for three years.

Government of Haryana vide notification no. 181 has issued check list for compliances under Posh Act, 2013 which includes policies, notices, employee awareness & assistance, internal committee, compliance with complaints committee recommendations, reports and annual reports.

Forwarding of user manual for implementation of provision to bulk Aadhaar seeding of ESIC beneficiaries through employer Portal - reg.
The ESIC vide notification no. N-16016/1/2023-Bft-II issued a user manual for bulk Aadhaar seeding of ESIC beneficiaries through the employer portal, following previous instructions on various authentication methods. The ICT Division now allows multiple excel sheet uploads per day for this purpose. Field offices are requested to review employer-wise Aadhaar seeding reports, target employers with many unseeded beneficiaries, and publicize this new feature to expedite the process. This directive is approved by the competent authority.

Amendment of LWF Rules – West Bengal
Government of west Bengal vide notification. No. Labr/576641/2024/(LC-LW/MW stated that the Labour Welfare Fund contribution rates at ₹30 for employers and ₹3 for employees, unchanged. These contributions are payable every six months, by June 30 and December 31. This notification is effective from January 1, 2024.
Enactment of Nagaland Child Labour Rules, 2024
Government of Nagaland vide notification no. LAB-1/29/92(Vol-1) stated in pursuance of the Cabinet decision vide letter NO. CAB-1/14/2023 dated 1st November 2024, the regulation of Nagaland Child and Adolescent Labour (Prohibition and Regulation ) Rules, 2024, shall be enforced with effect from the date of issue of this Notification.

EPFO vide Notification No. ELI/UANActivation/2024 has extended the time for UAN Activation and seeding Bank Account with AADHAAR for availing the benefits under ELI Scheme notified under circular no. EL1/UAN/Activation/2024 Dated 22.11 .2024 and EL1/UAN/Activation/2024 Dated 04.12.2024.
Settlement of physical claims without seeding of Aadhaar for certain classes of members-reg
EPFO vide Notification No. WSU/2020/Claim settlement without UAN-clarification/8726 addresses the issue of settling physical claims without linking Aadhaar for certain members. It references a previous circular from September 24, 2020, and mentions that field offices have reported difficulties in seeding and authenticating Aadhaar, resulting in unsettled claims and grievances hence physical claims shall be accepted from these members after due verification.
Ashadeepa scheme for the benefit of SC and ST community
Karnataka government via KEA introduced “ASHADEEPA SCHEME” to create employment opportunities for SC and ST candidates in the private sector by providing financial assistance to employers. This includes reimbursement of stipends for SC and ST apprenticeship trainees under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961, up to ₹5000 per month per candidate, covering 2/3rd of the total stipend amount for training periods ranging from six months to two years. Additionally, if employers recruit the same candidates for permanent positions after completing their apprenticeship training, they will be reimbursed 50% of the salary, up to ₹7000 per month per candidate by government, for two years. These benefits are designed to encourage the hiring and retention of SC and ST candidates, thereby improving their socio-economic conditions.
Press Note – KLWF
Government of Karnataka via circular no. 78/2024 issued a press note stating All establishments mentioned covered under the Karnataka Labour Welfare Fund Act 1965 must remit contributions online. Each employee contributes ₹20, while employers contribute ₹40 per employee, totaling ₹60 per employee. The deadline for payment is January 15, 2025, and late payments will incur penalties.
