**Rajasthan - **The Government of Rajasthan has issued Vide notification No. St/CPI/Eng.Wage Board/75/Pt./8746 regarding revision of VDA for Engineering employment.
**Assam - **The Government of Assam has issued Vide Memo ECF No. 412503/443-446 regarding revision of VDA and minimum wages for contract workers cum labourers with effect from 1st Jan 2026.
**Karnataka - **The Government of Karnataka has issued Vide Notification No. KA 411 LWA 2023 regarding revision of VDA and minimum wages scheduled employment with effect from the date of publication in official Gazette i.e., 25th May 2026. The exempted categories include senior citizens (60+), small transport vehicle owners, permit holders of limited taxis or goods vehicles, persons with specified disabilities, individuals with a single child who have undergone sterilisation, ex-servicemen, certain charitable hospitals, and specified educational institutions. While most categories are required to submit proof documents only once, transport-related categories must furnish them annually. The Government of Haryana Vide No. 02/26/2026-2Lab, has released Notification regarding Shop Act OSH Code Exemption on Registration Compliance. exempting establishments covered under the Haryana Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958 from the requirement of separate registration or intimation of business commencement under that Act, provided they obtain registration under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (OSH) Code, 2020 after the state rules are finalized. This exemption is intended to eliminate duplication in registration and compliance processes.
