Tamil Nadu: The Government of Tamil Nadu Vide No. II(2)/LWSD/980/2024, has issued Notification regarding minimum rate of wages for Cooking food. Please refer notification for more details.

Haryana: The Government of Haryana Vide Serial Number:IR-2/2024/25852-26005, has issued Notification regarding revision of minimum wages for scheduled employment with effect from 01st July 2024.

Telangana: The Government of Telangana Vide File No.DOL-H/MW/1/2024-H SECTION-DOL, has issued Press note regarding revision of minimum rate of wages with effect from 01st October 2024.

Jharkhand: The Government of Jharkhand Vide No-2/MW-2071/2071/2010(Bhag-3)L&T-1846, has issued Notification regarding revision of minimum rate of wages and VDA in Jharkhand with effect from 01st October 2024.

Rajasthan: The Government of Rajasthan Vide No. F.8(1) (VDA)/New/Labour/2000 has issued Notification regarding revision of minimum rate of wages for workers employed in breaking any stone or workers employed in grinding (outside mines), glass and chinaware, salt industry, woollen carpet and dushale weaving and workers employed in papad industry with effect from 1st October2024 to 30th September 2025(Hindi Version).

Kerala: The Government of Kerala Vide G. O. (P) No. 35/2024/GAD has issued Notification regarding declaration of public holidays for calendar year 2025.

Bihar: The Government of Bihar Vide G. O. 2024&15764 has issued Notification regarding declaration of public holidays for calendar year 2025.

Himachal Pradesh: The Government of Himachal Pradesh Vide No.GAD-A(F)10-7/2023, has announced State List of Holidays for calendar year 2025.

Chhattisgarh: The Government of Chhattisgarh Vide No.F/1-3/2024/1-5, has issued Notification regarding list of holiday for calendar year 2025.

Goa: The Government of Goa Vide No. 37/3/2024-GAD-III/4247 has announced Goa State List of Holidays for calendar year 2025.

Lakshadweep: The Administrator of UT. Of Lakshadweep Vide F.No.35/02/2018-Genl/1638 has announced Lakshadweep Union Territory List Of Holidays for calendar year 2025.

Rajasthan: The Government of Rajasthan Vide No. 6(1)SA.PV/6/2024-3592, has announced the list of holidays for calendar year 2025.

Notification regarding Online and Compliance Dashboard in West Bengal

The Government of West Bengal Vide No.I/5657111/2024/LABR-18099/4/2022-IT, has issued Notification regarding Online and Compliance Dashboard in West Bengal. has introduced dashboard related reforms including Compliance Inspection dashboard under 'Ease of Doing Business' to bring transparency in information dissemination and to help applicants know the minimum time in which their applications will be approved and system generated certificates will be issued for all services rendered by the Department under various Labour, Boiler and Factories Act.

Special Allowance notification under CLRA Act in Gujarat

The Government of Gujarat Vide No. Sr.A.6/T.3/524/2024, has issued Special Allowance notification under CLRA Act in Gujarat with effect from 01st October 2024. Contractors are required to pay a special subsistence allowance of Rs.35.00 per day to contract labourers, in addition to the fixed rates of wages. This order must be implemented by the concerned contractors

Circular regarding utilisation of Reserves and Surplus for crediting interests to the existing trust beneficiaries in EPF

The Employees Provident Fund Organisation Vide No.E.III/10(122)/2024/Circular/Exemption/5435, has issued Circular regarding utilisation of Reserves and Surplus for crediting interests to the existing trust beneficiaries. It directs all relevant officials to ensure that exempted establishments do not use the reserves and surplus of Trusts to credit interest to beneficiaries at rates higher than those declared by EPFO. Such actions are deemed illegal and violate the Indian Trusts Act. Any such requests from exempted establishments should be denied, and compliance audits will highlight any violations. The notification also mandates the transfer of all Trust Fund accumulations to the CBT, EPFO upon exemption cancellation. Previous related circulars are withdrawn, and these instructions must be communicated to all exempted establishments.

The Government of Kerala Vide G.O.(P)No.68/2024/LBR, has released notification of the Kerala Labour Welfare Fund (Amendment) Rules, 2024. With this notification the government has introduced online payment options alongside traditional methods like money orders and cash. Fund transfers to beneficiaries will now be conducted through electronic banking systems. Additionally, the amendments allow for the maintenance and submission of registers and statements both manually and electronically, enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of these processes.

Order regarding EODB online dashboard in Haryana

The Government of Haryana Vide No.3741, has issued Order regarding EODB online dashboard. The DPIIT’s BRAP-2024 reforms aim to enhance the “Ease of Doing Business” by mandating an online dashboard for transparency. This dashboard will display application data, update regularly, and provide detailed, drill-down information on application statuses and fees. The goal is to help applicants track their applications efficiently.
